Couldn't believe this one, some b'tard nicked the glass out of my wing mirrors Sat night. Didn't do any damage ( knew what he was doing) cost for replacements by BMW £51 each. Second bank holiday second time it's been got at ( Aug bank holiday he's in for a suprise). Can't believe people could stoop so low especially another bmw owner, bloody pain and hassle of replacing and reporting to the Police ( for what it's worth). Hope the ****head get's the same in return some-when or he wraps the car up with him in it
For the price of them you know why they steal them.
It is worth reporting for crime stats etc. An area of high crime should get more frequent patrols. If they know there is lots of theft from motor vehicles in a particular area it should be visited more often.
If you dont report it then the Police dont know its happening.

It's amazing how low people will sink to save themselves a few quid, without any thought for the person they're stealing from. The worst I've had is when someone stole the quick release skewer from the front wheel of my mountain bike (worth a fiver if that). Luckily I noticed it just before the front wheel fell off.
Wouldn't be so bad if I lived in an high risk/crime area but I live in a small village in East Sussex. I think it just proves no matter where you live you still get scum bags who don't give a toss who they steal from. I've glued the new ones in place so if the same happens again at least the sod can't get them out, i'd rather them break than they have the satisfaction of having them
Indeed nowhere is safe. The little thieving chavs get into every nook and cranny of society. Their balls and arrogance still amazes me. They will just walk into open doors etc and claim 'sorry wrong house mate' or 'my dog just ran in here have you seen it?' if caught and just stroll out. Keep an eye out for the tatty mondeo sporting 3 spotty, skinny burberry, fred perry wearing, reebok classic donning, finder crispy pancake eating, pop tart gorgeing scrote with a bad moustache and self made tattoo's.
