My search for a cup holder (E46)

Hi guys, I have a E46 convertible and have the TV fitted. I cannot believe that there are no cup holders in the car.

Has anyone ever sourced one? If so, where from and where does it go?

I've also got one and the lack of a cupholder is ridiculous!

I can't see anywhere one could be fitted to the dash/centre console etc either..

Not much help i know!

6 years driving for a BMW dealer and I never saw a cupholder in an E46.

You can have one in the centre console next to the hand brake. They come standard in the states. They get a cupholder and we get what is called the EuroTray which is a multi use thing either for phones or just a tray or a tray with a sliding cover.




Funnily enough all the yanks want EuroTrays and all the Europeans want cupholders

So in short by a cupholder from the states and get it sent over. Try eagleday, he's good.

I bought one on eBay for about £20 I think. It came from an authorised BMW dealer. I'll see if I can dig out my ebay history and find the seller.

If you get the part number I think you can order direct from your dealer - roughly £30 if my memory serves me right.
