DBC on BMW

Having taken my BMW 330i (latest incarnation of the 3 series) round Oulton Park, the car performed very well untill the damned Dynamic Brake Control began to cut in, despite the DTC and DSC being switched "fully" off on the dash switch. Not only did this keep the brakes fully applied untill I lifted fully off, it also cut the throttle pedal totally which stopped heeling and toeing down changes, with all the resulting drag on the clutch and back wheels.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have this damned DBC de-activated ?

Usually, pressing and holding the DSC button for 10+ seconds (which turns the 'handbrake failure' lamp on as well) does the trick. Pressing once only partially disables the system.

DCB - At least you didn't name yourself exactly as one of the worse electronic Big Brothers on the market !
