Yes there are deals to be had, call Mike at DMS and tell him you are a Pher and he'll give you a good price.

Just incidentally, if anybody else in Cheshire is thinking of having their car mapped, I'm sure we could get a good price if we were all to group together...

Hi Andy,

Not sure if DMS go down the group remap route but they will happily visit your home / place of work to carry out the work.

Best bet if you want to join a group buy is to call Simon at Emaps, if he hasn't got one running in the north then again as per DMS he will visit your home to do the work, price wise he is a bit cheaper than DMS.

Are you the same Andy M that used to frequent ukmkivs forum ?

I've got a 335d and am also considering a remap, having moved from VAG cars I'm surprised at how little info is available, the car is pretty damn good as standard but an't help but wonder what it would be like mapped

Do a search for DMS, E-Maps, Shires Performance and Evolve, all will offer to remap your 335d and all have good results with satisfied customers.

Are you still up for a run off between a 335d, M3 (E46, E92, CSL) and for the fun of it your RS6 at the next VMax? Would help put paid to all the daft commnts on these threads.

ha I doubt it, my 3200 was rubbish at vmax although on a horrifically rainy day I did manage a 360 at the end of the straight at about 90mph!

You are probably right but it would be just about be competitive, I was quite impressed with the 3200GT's I test drove a couple or so of years back when toying with buying one of them.

Anyway better stop there before we get in trouble for going OT.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next VMax
