After market tail lights?????

My dads just fitted some smoked tail lights to his e30 and now the brake light check light won go out, any ideas????

iv heard it can sometimes be down to bad earth in the new light units???

any help is appreciated

It probably doesn't like being chaved, put the originals back on please.

lol i no what you mean thats why my e30 is kept in showroom condition but my dads needed alot of work so he's personalised it as he goes and this is the latest problem
