Help with 528 sport

Going to view 2 x 528 sport bmw's this week (manual). One silver one green. 1999 and 2000. Does it state on the logbook that the car is a 528 sport or not. Just worried in case the cars are not what they say they are! Any advice - thanks. Ps with 130k on clock what would the value be in the present climate? Thank you for your time.

Yes, a genuine Sport will say 'Sport' on the logbook. Genuine Sport models also have Anthracite Headlining which is what most of the fake Sports don't have and gives them away.

Is the proper title for this car a 528i Sport, or a 528i M Sport - not trying to be picky just wanted to know really! I presume they all came with the M kit and wheels etc anyway?

It's a 528i Sport. Sport was renamed M Sport in 2005 but there were no changes to the spec just the name.

Genuine Sport models (ie, not the SE's with a Sport pack) came with:

M-Tech bodykit
Sports Seats in Alcantara, Leather optional.
Titanium Interior Trim (Wood was an option though)
M-Tech Suspension
M-Tech 17" Wheels (Or optional 18's)
Anthracite Headlining
M branded door sills
M branded Steering wheel/gearstick
Clear indicators on prefacelift models (ie the 528i)

If its missing any of this, it isn't a Sport (Although BMW Individual Sport models lost the M branded door sills.
