Unusual 'BMW' question: Isetta bubble car

I know, not your usual BMW topic!
A colleague is selling a BMW Isetta 300 bubble car, 1960. He's owned it for a long time, during which it has been restored. It hasn't been used for the last few years but has been re-commissioned and has flown through a MOT. I'm told it is in excellent condition.
I guess what I'm asking for is the PH wisdom on these. Any buying tips, pitfalls etc... Also, any opinion on values? Seems difficult to guage as there are so few for sale. I won't post his asking price just yet, I'd be interested if there is any expertise out there.
