Diesal performance getting ridicoulus!?!

Well, i only ever read and post the trackday section, but i had an incident today, which i thought needed posting for other peoples views. I own an E46 M3, full exhaust, pulleys, itg filter and remap. The car can pull away slowly against most standard M3's. (as we all know, they all have different power).
But last sunday, i came across a 335d. Seemed like a nice chap, and we had a few runs. All i can say is, i was gobsmacked at how quick this car was! I have a mate with an e46 330d(remapped) and that was pretty quick, but nothing compared to my M3.
Everytime the 335 changed gear, it would lose a bit of power, and i would probably move about a foot forward. But then the torque kicks in again, and it regains back his lost foot!
I had to confirm with him after that it was remapped and not standard.
Im upset though, that BMW would bring out such a quick car and its diesal! If im moving slowly past standard M3s, this diesal would probably do the same!
Obviously, the 335d has no chance on the track vs my car, but how often is one on a track 356 days out of the year!
I read a guy on here recently got a 13.3 second 1/4 mile. Ive managed a 13s 1/4 with just a remap last year. But dont ask me to do that again! Most M3 drivers i see at santa pod, usually get over 14s or high 13s, especially the smg ones.
Imagine the new generation of diesal cars that will be coming in the near future. They are going to be insanely quick. I hope i never have to go down the diesal route in the future! I like the roarness of a N/A car too much.

I was thinking about swapping my Superleggra for a 335d, apparently it can be mapped to 600hp if you remove the torque sensor on the autobox and run it on 6 bottles of that Millers stuff to every gallon. Anyone tried this ?
Actually after 6 bottles of Millers lite My 120D seemed to give at least 500BHP!
