£8500!? To make a 5 Series Sport look like an M5? Thats ridiculous given they already look pretty similar..

And how many miles..? A £17,600 car, with apparently £13k of extra work done, and he:

• Can't be bothered to quote the mileage (120k+ are we guessing?)
• Un-named "good tyres"
• I-drive computer - sorry - I thought all of these had i-drive - and it won't be a fully functional M5 computer (eg on the fly BHP mapping)
• "There is probably a lot more I just cant remember". Great.

That said, it is a pretty good copy. Better than that 350z pimping on the other forum... ;-)

Because of the remap? "I also paid £600 for a remap by Celtic Tuning on the car mainly for economy. (Bhp 280 with 400 flb of torque.) You get on average 36 to 41 mpg"

BMW would probably say - "too many mods / ECU software no longer standard (presumably the electrics have been modded as well)- you are on your own mate - by the way your M5 sounds a bit rough, sounds more like someone put a diesel in it"

I think it looks brilliant, especially from the side. OK it's not an M5 but that doesn't really appeal to me, whereas I could entertain a 530d just about. So apart from looking like a moron pretend M5 you'd have a good looking car and a sensible spec. Might be shoddy riding though.
