840 cutting out

I am having problems with my 840. She has been serviced and had the crank shaft censor replaced which showed up as a fault. I use her every day and she can go a week without cutting out, then, without warning she just stops. Sometimes there is no power when sat in the outside lane of the motorway, then it is like being kicked up the arse and she picks up the revs and is ok.
She is the 4.4. Any ideas please.

Idle control valve or MAF sensor a bit dirty?

If its been serviced and they replaced the CPS and you are still having problems, I would take it back to them.

Its a cam position sensor, not crank. Get a proper diag done.
