10-14k BMW toy.

What are your recommendations for a weekend car, i'm hoping some people will have some opinions of the following;

E30 M3
Z3 M Coupe
E36 M3
E46 M3

prob won't get used on the track, just for weekend fun.

All great cars but only one IMO has the X Factor.

I've always wanted one, but ive got an itch for a certain e30. (im not posting it coz someone will buy it!)

Ive had the other two but at the time they were my main car and the e46 was a cab

Plenty of choice around the £14k mark, and still new enough not to have fallen into the wrong hands and been abused and neglected.

Based on your criteria:

1. E30 M3

2. Z3M Coupe

M coupé of course!!!

M3 Coupe if you want something a little rarer and just for yourself or two of you to go out in, absolutely stunning plaything.

E46 if you need the extra room.

You can buy a nice S54 Z3 M for £14k now, and that will hold its money better than most things at the moment.

E46 you can get a really nice one for £14k, expect it to drop down to £8k or so before leveling out a bit depreciation wise.


You could by an S50 Z3 M, actually a little rawer, and you can miss the £400 a year tax if that bothers you??
