He's thinking of selling it so what a bunch of dealers might pay for it after they've sucked air through their teeth isn't relevent either.
Privately it's worth what, at least £8k?
You really are a cocktard of the highest order. He asked for a value, I gave a trade value basing it on the bare ninimum of details given. How have you arrived at £8k you plank?Privately it's worth what, at least £8k?
Is it a Sport?
Is it a convertible?
What spec is it?
Auto/manual?

Also as petrol has come down to 97.9p do you think big ( 2.5 is not that big ) petrol cars will slow in there value free fall.

I can't see anyone getting £9500 as a trade in unless the dealer has a massive margin or it's against old stock.
I am not sure that it is just the cost of fuel that is affecting prices. I feel it's more that no one is buying. Everyone is scared witless.

I suspect it's a 325Ci SE or Sport, I doubt it's a cab as he'd have mentioned it. Given that *most* 325Ci's are Sport's, I made an assumption (You made assumptions also, gues what, its allowed) that it's a 325Ci Sport. Now a low mileage 325Ci Sport on a private sale might reasonable be expected to fetch a tad more than just 6 grand. Is it a Sport?

Calm down. It's the internet and somebody has given a different value on a car to you. I've not robbed your TV or slept with your girlfriend. Lets get some perspective. I'm no more a 'know it all' than yourself. You are entitled to your opinion on me but is there any reason to be so downright offensive other something as pathetically petty as the value of some blokes car
To be honest if your value is correct then mine isn't far off, is it? The trade dont buy cars at private sale value so private sale value is always going to be 10-30% higher depending on the car surely?
