But this time BMW has offered me a choice of cover:

Ranging from 'Driveline' covering the engine and gearbox up to £5000 which works out at £273 with £250 excess and basic roadside recovery to....

Comprehensive cover up to the purchase price of the car at £870 with 0 excess and full Euro assistance.

Details of the scheme here: http://www.bmw-warranty.co.uk/Pages/Information.as...

What to do????

Interesting one, I'll face this dilemma in 6 months, but seeing as my car has done about £2500 on the warranty in the past week - I reckon I might play it safe!

I'm in the same situation. My warranty expires in just a few days, and today my car goes in for a few items to be looked at.

The level of service I receive today will help me to decide whether or not to extend the warranty.

It'd be interesting to see how you get on.

Dropped the car off and am already a little wary of the service received. Will see how it goes...
