Hi, I'm new to this bit of the forum so just thought I'd say hello (before I start with all the silly questions).

Yesterday I collected a 328i Sport and am loving it. I don't recall enjoying driving to work on a Monday morning so much for years.

Er, that was all - just spreading the happiness biggrin

Welcome to the fold. The 328i is one of the best all round BMW's in my opinion. Saloon, coupe, touring or convertable? Got any pics?

Erm, I'll try a pic but I think it'll be huuuge and I haven't got photoshop on this laptop. Sorry if so.

Really impressed with the noise suppression and secondary ride (bump absorption) but think the primary ride is a bit choppy at the front. Not sure if they're all like this on the sport suspension or if I have a knackered damper.

Compared to my outgoing Volvo 850R it goes very well (despite 50bhp less) and sounds even better.

I have a limited slip diff in the garage by a happy coincidence so that'll be happening one weekend soon...

I too had a '96 E36 328i coupe prior to my current 5 Series. Loved it, great car and very reliable. Lovely exhaust note too, arguably better than my 4.4 litre! madwink
