335 v 330

I test drove a 335i SE yesterday, stunning car! I would probably prefer the MSport right enough, I'll be buying at the turn of the year.....

Anyway, I was looking for some comparisons/experiences from anyone that has owned either or preferably both!

It is a very impressive bit of kit, the guy who was using the car said it was returning exactly the same mpg as his previous 330d auto, which was a round town of 33mpg.

The other thing to mention is its pace, it is seriously quick, revs wonderfully, sounds sublime and handles so, so, so much better than the heavy diesel

It was so nice to be back in a NA car again too, sold the 335i straight away after, something about a NA engine.

Not tried the 330, but have a 335i. Not sure I could downgrade now I've had the power there but each to their own. Price of petrol is now not as significant as it was a few months ago either, plus the tuning potential of twin turbos is fantastic.
