530i Sport 03 - what's it worth

I've looked at trading my 5 series in, and to be honest i'd rather sell to the man in the street rather that let a dealer make a few quid out of it... but i'd like to know what the market is like for them and what's it worth.

Full service (main dealer mainly)- last service was June
72,500 mls (will be soon anyway!)
Tyres are good for a further 10K at least
MOT till June
Tax till April

in good to excellent condition.

Would advertise it at about £7k aiming for £6k to £6.5k, otherwise if the stealer is offering anything above £6k then I'd take it.

no heated seats, dont think the rear screen is tinted. standard alloys for M sport.

i will be taking some current photos over the weekend to post.

what budget does your brother have and where are you located?

has it got all the m-sport bodykit and wheels on it? a friend of mine recently bought a w-reg 528i with all the kit but 130k on the clock for £3400.
very solid feeling car considering its 8 years old.

it did have fsh and the prop shaft had just been replaced. definately worth the £3k

Was it a proper Sport or just kit?

it's an M sport off the factory line - so has the M sport kit, alloys, door plates, suspension upgrade, M logos on steering wheel, alloys etc. Not on the boot as it's not an M5 it's a 5 series sport, with M styling.

i'll get some photo's taken and it will be appearing in the classifieds next week.

He after one with heated front seats and tinted windows I'm afraid - M-parallels would have been a bonus.

He's in Belfast although would go pretty much anywhere to get the car as we don't have the choice over here.
