335i coupe extended warranty cost?
Discussion
Hi all
Am looking at a 335i coupe as my next car and as they are all circa 2 years old at most, they will have the balance of the factory warranty. I'd like to keep the car 2 years or so and extend the warranty when it expires, but does anyone know what this is likely to cost? Have asked my local dealer and they told me they couldn't tell me yet!
Cheers

You need to call the warranty company, it is on the BMW website, there are three levels of cover from Driveline, all parts other than wear and tear and full cover.
You can then choose from no excess, £100, £150, £200 and £250.
So you could pay from £350 a year up to £700 odd for the full cover with no excess.
BMW are no longer allowed to warranty their own cars, nor are any other manufacturers, so they are not allowed to quote you.
People were moaning about extended warranty pricing and conditions because they were not the same as regular warranties, so the governing bodies stepped in and made them become insurance policies taken on by a third party. The prices tripled over night!!
