E90 330i iPod connection

The wifes just gotten an e90 330 and i was wondering how to connect an ipod.
Also is it possible to get the artist album info on the idrive screen.

Noticed a jack connection under armrest and have heard others talk about a usb connection but cant see a usb connector.

Two ways I believe. Either there should be a connector next to the jack under the armrest, or I've read there might be a cable in the glovebox. If you have neither then your dealer can install the cable into the glovebox, and then you will get artist info on screen.
