Heated seats not working... ideas?

Evening all,

My e39 has heated seats and whilst the little green dash lights come on, I'm not feeling the heat.

Common issue?
Wires get caught under the seats?
Fuse blown?

I'm not overly fussed about them but now I know my car has a feature that doesn't work I need to fix it.

Any ideas?

Driver side deffo not working. But I think that it's actually neither that are working. Which is odd, as they used to..

Taking it that you have looked at the plugs under the seat, and fuses etc, it could be the elements, which are a git to change.
