Outside temp 49.5*C ?!

I think not little puppy.

I've some recollection that the temp sensor on an E46 is somewhere just behing the front bumper, and I'm guessing mine is now past its best.

Can anyone confirm deny this. Don't have the luxury of a garage at the mo (or even a tarmac or concrete surface to work on) and would like to minimise the amount of time spent grovelling around replacing it...
