E46 touring tailgate spoiler removal?

The rear washer tube has popped off the nozzle inside spoiler enclosure. I think it iced up and pressurised it into coming off. I pulled out the nozzle but this sits in a rubber housing. The water is pouring out from underneath it. So I am assuming it has come off the housing.

So how do I get the spoiler off to reconnect the little blighter

hi,open the glass part of the tailgate,then look along the metal fixing at the top of the glass you should see 2 blanknig trims at each side,under them is 4 10mm bolts,unfasten them then carefully close the glass,then the whole spoiler should slide back,be careful with the high level brake light connection,it goes from the spoiler into a sealed box underneath,the cover of the box prises up and u can then disconnect the connection

Thanks, the plastic cover is in one piece on mine, and has 5 plastic lugs that locate in metal clips. It has obviously been removed before by some teenager with fists of ham as 2 lugs are broken 4 bolts removed and the spoiler is free. Thanks for the heads up on the brake light connector. I just rested the spoiler on some rubber blocks reconnected hose. Job done
