I sold this car 3 years ago and it had full history.
Current owner has mislaid service book.... and I took it back in part ex assuming it still had the same history.

Before I bought my 530 touring I rang the bmw line, then the servicing dealership and they confirmed the visits the car had made over the phone. Is it likely that they would fax/post more detailed info like the service sheets that show exactly what was done at each visit? Or would they tell me to foxtrot oscar?

I was thinking about that earlier. there is another post on here where someone is trying to check service history. If you asked them nicely there is no reason why you couldn't get copies of the invoices as long as they cut out the customers details to cover data protection stuff. Sorry I think I may have confused both of us, I wasn't sure about posting their details on forum, so I meant to say I would email the dealers name to you, not email them to get the history. Just one other thing, you said you sold it wth full service history but it only shows the 4 2002 visits on the system?? I wonder where all the other info came from in the service book??

When I bought the car originally 3 years ago, it had full BMW history ( stamped ).I hate customers

Did you call the £1 per minute line and give them the VIN ?Many thanks

It might have had a cherished plate on previously so would be on the system under that.

Yeah gave them the vin, they advised that it is not a reg that BMW give out so I presume is a private reg. They also said its a import and they don't keep records for them.
Could just do with dates and dealers then I could contact them individually get details from them.
