Bought a Z3 with no service history and was a cat D a few years back.

After a few calls I have discovered at 15,000 it has had its inspection 1 in 2003 (15,000) and an oil change in 2005 (29,764) both at BMW main dealers.
Its now done 44,000 and Inspection 2 due soon.
Question is is it worthwhile going to dealer or specialist for this or just go to my usual wee garage that Ive used for years ?

stick to specialist or main dealer, the inspection services are quite comprehensive, and involve checking alot of things, rather then just a simple oil and filters and plugs change.

If It was a CAT D a few years back I wouldn't bother with Main Dealer/Indy It will not add value to the Car.
