E36 328i Convertible
Discussion
After a failed attempt to buy a 323i Convertible (was not quite as advertised!) I have seen this - I would like your thoughts on the price and, as far as the advert goes, if you think it is worth a punt. It also has FSH that was not mentioned in the advert. When I spoke with the dealer and asked about the hood and overall condition he stated 'It is as you would expect of a car of this age and mileage' he then went on to say 'It is in excellent condition and everything works as it should' - only a real inspection will determine the outcome!
It is advertised on Autotrader for 2995 if the link (of sorts) below does not work.
I assume this is post Nikasil based on the age?
Thanks

Yes, a '99 model should be free of the Nikasil-prone block, although even if it wasn't, it is unlikely to go wrong now. I bought a '96 with the prone block (didn't know anything about the issue until after I bought it). 109k on original engine when I bought it. Sold it at 141k miles. No issues at all.It is advertised on Autotrader for 2995 if the link (of sorts) below does not work.
