Hello, My 95 540 is coming up for a brake fluid change the only porblem being it has ASC+T, I have a pressure bleeder which is very good but the E34 bently manual is absolutley certain I should not even attempt to do this myself as it requires specialist equipment ?? does anyone know of the complications of having/bleeding an asc+t system or if its just as easy as the abs system to bleed ?? I will just be replacing fluid with fresh so not draining it down or removing calipers etc

Any thoughts or experience :?

Thanks in advance biggrin

it doesn't make a difference really, i've never had to do anything special due to ABS and high pressure systems, but i suppose once swapped, find somewhere where you can test the ABS a few times.

I changed some rear pipes on my 540 and just did it the normal way in ignorance, had no problems after! Nice hard pedal. I used the kind of bleeder that's a one way valve on the end of a bit of tube that you slip over the nipple.
