What petrol for 130i?
Discussion
I've used both normal and super in mine. The car is slightly better using super-unleaded and does give marginally more mpg.
The decision as to what to fill it with is driven by what sort of journey I will be doing.
I believe the car is completely fine with both and is much less sensitive to fuel than a turbo car such as the subaru.

Mine gets Tesco 99, or failing that standard Shell, not Optimax (or V-Power or whatever it's called now), as it's the closest garage to home.
Have tried Optimax a few times and the engine feels slightly more responsive, as it does with Tesco 99, although that could well be in my imagination. What I haven't imagined is that Tesco 99 gleans an additional 3-4 mpg, whilst Optimax doesn't make any difference to economy.
