Bluetooth Prep. After sale installation

Just a quick one...can you fit the bluetooth prep if not done when the car was ordered??? Is it pretty cheap to do? (1 Series M Sport)

Just 'bumping' this back up. Spoke with my local dealer today who said I'm looking at around £1500 to get the bluetooth prep. equiptment fitted. Anyone with any thoughts on a more wallet friendly way of getting this done? Ideally i'd like to use all the standard fit items (steering wheel control's etc.)

At £1500 I think the stealer is probably trying to rape you.

When I was looking to buy an E46 3 series I researched this a bit. I know its a different model, but the principle is probably very similar, you may find you just need to add the bluetooth module. Have a look at this site, they sell complete kits for around $600, maybe email them for info on your particular model:

Basically the consensus is that retrofitting it is too expensive, but you can fit a Parrot CK3000 Evo with Connects2 adapter for about £120, that gives you a Parrot handsfree bluetooth setup thats completely controlled by the steering wheel with no visible controls etc required, so "looks" OEM. You can even fit it yourself its that easy.

Thanks for that...thought I was going made when they said 1500... put in a call to a local autoelec and asked about the parrot this morning, £250 fitted, sounds a lot better to me!
