My BMW 325CI has a nasty scratch (about several) on the front bumper corner. I also have a couple of small dint's that need popping out.
Shall I take it to a dealer or use someone like chipsaway.

I can't afford to buy a new car so I want to improve the appearance of mine and then some mechanical repairs.

Thanks all.

I used Chipsaway and it looks fine until it's under fluorescent light. Car valet chap reckons he can see it too.

Your looking at completely different money.

Chipsaway charged me £80.00 to cover a scratch which the dealer wanted £400.00. Appreciate that the amount of work done was different but as my car is an everyday drive it will only be a matter of time until it is scratched again.

You do have to be aware that Chipsaway is a franchise and so level of workmanship varies from operative to operative. The guy I use is spot on but I have seen work done by other Chipsaway people which is awful.

If you post where you are located I'm sure someone will recommend a local repairer. Don't bother with a main dealer they will just subcontract it out to a man with a van anc charge you more for it.

I live near Reading, about 20 minutes away. I don't know if its worth buying a new Bumper or not. I subscribe to the BMW Car magazine and see adverts like bmwmstyle.co.uk for msport kits. Not sure?
