BMW 530i - Speedo Doesnt work ???

Hi,

Was woundering if someone can help me.

My 530i's showing some promblems..which are as follows:-

1. speedo stops working
2. traction controle warning light stays on
3. ABS light comes on
4. ABS stops workin.....

All of the above happen at the same time and sometime everything is fine and it all works.

Can anyone suggest what they think the problem might be???

Yes it would, the speedo takes its reading from one of the wheel speed sensors. You have a faulty wheel speed sensor. Don't shout, it makes you look stupid.

rear left a.b.s sensor is used for the speedo reading,changing it should be ur first port of call

Speed sensor, check it with a computer to make sure.
