Dealer negotiating
Discussion
Any help much appreciated.
My sis is looking to get herself a nearly new 3 series coupe (probably a 325d or 330d M sport). She will want a few basic options (like sat nav) and auto etc. She is being offered cars with 1000 miles or so, so pretty new. Now here's the question, what sort of discounting should she be able to get. Sadly I own a Porsche and have taken such a battering on the depreciation I have no idea how BMW are coping and hence their appetite to negotiate. You hear horror stories at Porsche about how new cars are being discounted by as much as 20% (ok driven a bit by the new generation car). Any folks here got any first hand experience on this for BMWs. In the past I owned two BMWs (my M3 being my favourite car ever, such an accomplished all rounder) and got very little out of the salesman (granted it was during the biggest ever bull market know to man kind)
Thanks in advance for any help.
