Guys has anyone got the definitive answer to which runflat gives the smoothest most comfortable ride. My 57 plate 120d auto runs on bridgestones at the moment. Will not be thinking of non-runflats .Cheers allconfused

I have heard from some a fellow Z4 owner that the Michelin PS2 ZP's (which cost a bit more than the bridgestones) had an improved ride and a bit less tramlining.

Well I guess I bit the bullet and finally bought new tires. It was a tough decision on whether to get Run Flats or Non Run Flats, so I ended up with Run Flats. Tires I chose were the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP's. They were installed this morning and the ride home was extremely much better than the Bridgestones. I realize that Run Flats do not ride as good as Non Run Flats, but my decision was based on knowing I wouldn't have to stop and pull over somewhere. The way I look at it is that if I wanted a soft riding, easy on the behind car, I would have bought a Mercedes sedan or a Cadillac.

Has to be the Pilot Sport run flat though.

Although I found the 17" Bridgestones the best run flat of all. RE050 I think they were.

I'm looking to get new tyres too. So experience of one tyre/brand over another would be quite useful right now too.

I'm currently running Bridgstone Potenzas which I find tramline a fair bit, but this could be down to being worn on the outer edges.
