Wiring diagram help!

I have just brought an e46 2006 bmw 320 d m sport convertible with light front end damage to fix and keep! All WAS going well!! I need to know where the wire that connects to the air con fan at the very front of the car comes from. It is not around and i cannot find any loose wires or connections. Help greatly recived.

Wild stab in the dark - but is it the External Temp. Sensor?

Without looking it up there are usually three wires
1/ a thick red/blue wire 12 volt battery feed from a relay
2/ a thick brown earth wire, usually earthed near the left headlamp
3/ thinner green wire, this is from the DDE engine control unit and is a pulse width modulated signal that varies to signal fan speed.
