Hoping someone can give me some pointers for today's after work task... 05 plate BMW 120d, wife has wound down the rear window with the baby blind attached by its suckers - the window popped one and the blind off, then sucked the other one past the window scraper and into the door! Now the window won't power back up - I assume the logic motor is detecting resistance to the window rising as a result of the sucker dragging on something and triggering the anti-hand-trapping feature. The window has now auto-reversed right down into the door in the fully open position and won't come up - it just flicks and immediately auto-reverses, dagnammit..... So I guess I need to get the door trim off tonight, get into the door and remove said sucker before winding the window back up! Unless there is a way to over-ride the safety auto reverse? Anyone know how to get the rear door trim off a 1 series? or if there are any traps or tricks I need to know about? Any help gratefully received....

Have a look in the how to section of www.babybmw.net , you might find something there. If not, ask in the main General section as someone is sure to know.

Thanks for the pointer - all sorted beer Suction cup jammed between window and regulator. Anyone needs to take the rear door trim off a 1 series, it is real simple - two screws under the handle trim (trim prises off along its length), one in the handle recess behind a blanking grommet. Then pull te trim outwards away from the door.
