under the bonnet

of an E46, standing at front of car with bonnet up in the top left hand corner there is a area where some electrical wires are & brake fluid I think. should this have a cover over it? reason I ask is the electric conections seem open to the elements. If some one has a picture that would be great.

The various rubber seals should keep that area reasonably free of water - only the ECU on the other side has a dedicated cover. Post a piccie of yours...
