E39 cracked climate control button

I've put up with two cracked buttons on the climate control for my 1999 528 for far too long.
Does anyone have an idea of where I could get hold of just the buttons online somewhere?

The rest of the panel is fine so it would be better to change just the buttons. They are the two blue buttons on the panel

You can get a replacement front panel with new buttons from BMW but remember not to change the panel just hook out the buttons individually and replace them.

Or possibly find one at a breakers and hook out some buttons.

IIRC the entire panel from BMW costs about forty quid.

That seems a lot to me to replace a couple of broken buttons.

Ask on BMW5, there was a heater button swapshop thing, but dont criticise any of the chavs on there who can't form a sentence or they will delete your account without warning.

The email was entirely sincere and 100% indicative of my intentions.

I sent it over a month ago and have not recieved a reply, so you can imagine why I thought you had simply ignored it You can't expect me not to be a little bitter after being removed, without any prior warning, from a community I enjoyed being a part of for over 3 years, and then received no reply to a polite and sincere email.

You will note despite what happened I'm STILL directing people over there as the site is a great resource filled with mostly great people. As for the chavs - you know the people I am reffering to and you know it's the sort with less than 30 posts and not the regulars. The kind who sign up purely to take from the community and cannot even word posts correctly.

I don't know you but I find the fact that you posted up a private email completely out of order!

Fox and I have had our run ins but that adds to a site I believe.

All four buttons on my E39 were split when I bought it - a fine line running from the point of the coloured arrows to the edge. I learned to live with it.
I still miss that car - the best I ever had.
