Currently the leasing company we use are not honouring the Free Upgrades on both the X5 (Free Dynabmic Package) and 3 Series Free Metallic Paint.

They are adding the option price to the cost of the lease, as you would expect if it were a straight option, but BMW are doing the Free Upgrades. The lease companies excuse being that these are not for Busniness users, whereas the local friendly and very helpful dealer is saying that they are available.

Clearly tax will be paid on the P111D value, which isn't the problem, it is the fact that they are adding x y z onto the monthly price, even though the dealer says they get the options for free.

Has anyone else come across this before?

The BMW 'Free Upgrade' offer may be for retail sales only, so is not available to the lease co.

Without looking, I seem to remember the offer being for fleets of 25 cars or less, therefore excluding leasing companies.

The lease company is paying nowhere near the "street price" for the cars, so one off deals available to other punters are an irrelevance.

BMW would say that though, saying as you're not leasing it off them...
