Is that when you change the manifold for the one of a 325?

i dont think its that easy to do mate otherwise you'd hear of more conversions. Not saying it cant be done though, i know there are M3 TB conversions on the 328's

There are loads of 328's converted to the 325 manifold and TB.

The typical option is to go with one of Alpina527's (look out for him on various beemer forums) ready made solutions, enlarged bore TB and modified x25 manifold so it's a plug and play. I'm currently talking to him about getting a set up for my 528 before I LPG it. Cost is in the region on £400 which is not unreasonable for the genuine power boost it offers - compared to a lame K&N cone for example wink

Cheers,
Rob

i thought he was talking about individual throttle bodies rather than single TB

Hmmm good point. I'm thinking expensive for some reason! I suspect the ecu side of things will be the harder point that bolting on a new manifold.

Cheers,
