Does anyone know how to tell if a 330Ci has automatic folding mirrors? And what you need to do to activate the folding operation?

Just changed to a 2001-era 330Ci and I am pretty sure that it does but I can't figure out how to do it. The owners manual is still at the dealer's (he gave me the wrong one and is sending on the correct one, but in the meantime...)

Any help appreciated. Don't want to risk my mirrors on a Saturday night on the street here...

If it's the same as the M3, there is a little button next to the wing mirror adjustment switch.

As above there is a little button next to the mirror adjustment knob in the arm rest on the door card. Just next to the left/right mirror selection switch. Worry not tho if you dont have it, if you have got electic mem seats your car will be wired for folding mirrors, you'l just need the switch and a pair of mirrors.

Electric folding mirrors are a cost option

As above if you have them there will be a small button near the mirror adjustments
Its very easy to hit as you open the door - which is probably how it was designed smile

The auto fold was only available with the powered and memory seats option

Cheers - enjoy the car

Ah, I seem to have no electric folding mirrors but I do have heated electric memory seats. Never mind, car is otherwise very nice smile
