cd player problem

Hi guys 2002 330 coupe with the cd changer in the boot, it wont work. Within the car it says " NO MAGAZINE" but the magazine is in there complete with afull compliment of discs and it wont eject, any ideas? Any help or solutions much appreciated. Is it a big job to remove and strip down the cd changer, and any ideas whats causing the problem
