I don't like the Sheffield dealer anymore.
My car needed repair work, they told me to come collect the car ( around 25 mins journey ) , got there and they bodyshop manager says he wasn't satisfied with the car....
What the blooody f
k ....so that's pretty much made me avoid that dealer 100% from now on.
The valet job they did on the car was utterly st too, ( I don't have high standards ) it was st. All the brake dust was still there, interior valet was st. Everything was st. I swear I handed the car in in a better state.
Lincoln are pretty good apparently, friendly etc.
Indy wise, Newhall and Parkside Autos in Worksop.
If I was in your position I would consider Lincoln.

The £950 quote has pretty much put me off that dealer as well!
Phoned Lincs Soper and they estimate £550 which I am happy enough for.
There's a few BMW independents in Doncaster, none of whom I've used personally, but it's the local BMW Car Club meeting at Howden tomorrow evening, so I will ask if anyone recommends someone Sheffield/Doncaster way.
I have used Autologic in Hessle, nr Hull for about 20 years though and have been quite happy with the work and their prices, though one or two people I know have noted issues more recently (they've taken a few people on over the years, so the quality may be slipping slightly).
I wouldn't pay a dealer to work on my cars, having used Paragon Hull, Castle York, Astle Shorpe and Wheatley Hall, Doncaster.
