Following up on Service History from BMW

Hi All,

Does anybody know where/what number at BMW I need to call to follow up on finding out the details of the dealer service history on the car I have just bought? I looked on the BMW website and failed to find an obvious number to call, if anybody knows off hand I am sure it will save me lots of time on hold and being re-directed to different departments.

There are gaps in the service book, but the car is a 2 owner car, has had a private plate, so I am assuming that it is likely there is more history than the book suggests, I could be wrong about that, but it would be good to know. I have the current reg no. and chassis number.

Its under the contact us part of the website and is the £1 per minute line....

edit: they usually want the 7 last digits of the VIN......
