LPG and BMW ?

Scanning the ad's for 525 and 530i on 51 plate and noticed that a few crop up fitted with LPG, any views or comments please.

A mate of mine does gas conversion he has done quite a few they run just as well on gas but gas is a lot cheaper

Dad has 530i Y reg on gas, runs fine without problems, no noticeable different when switching between fuels, but car can only start on petrol,(some componant needs to be warmed up before it can inject gas) on a cold day this can take a fair while.

On a sidestep, I had an LPG Pug 406 2.0 Auto...

Interestingly, LPG was half the price of petrol, but I found I used twice the amount.

From then on (for a work car), it's been Diesel all the way.
