Computer gave the fault that front left parking light has failed and on inspection I see its the angel eyes on side lights not working.

went to the local motorfactors store and he gave me a little 50p bulb - confident that its the part.

how the feck do i change it now? Does the little bulb the size of you wee finger nail actually fit the bill to light up the 2 angel eyes?

Can anyone give me some steps on the best way to get this fitted? Do I have to dismatle alot of parts to get at it?

She has bi-xenon lights.

Stupid I am, I know!
Cheers

Knowing BMW they have engineered these so only a main stealer can do it at stupid cost. There is a BMW tech on here I think who could probably be of more help than me!

How did you get on with replacing the bulb? Facing the same problem myself.

Hi

The 50p bulb is not the deal. I bought a unit from BMW for about £18, but when I wiggled the wires on the light unit and hit it a few gentle "taps", the light worked again, but only for a few minutes. It does not want to seem to work now at all. The bulb is not fused - I can see that from the outside. I have started another thread on this but no replies yet.

Thinking I might have to get the bulb unit again and fit it to see if that works - even though the bulb is not fused, the unit may be faulty.

The youtube link was helpful - will probably try and do that myself.

Good luck
