Want to get a run down on service history and any other known from the BMW computer...

BMW 540i Silver

X816 MBJ

First registered via BMW Oxford

Looks good so hoping it comes up smelling of roses....
have a couple of others on the radar but I have a preference for this one

What kind of mileages are you looking at for these items? What should ensure has been done or allow for on an 80k 540i?

- front upper arms
- front lower arms
- front wheel bearings
- rear subframe bushes
- throttle potentiometer
- front dampers and top mounts
- disks and pads all round
- steering idler arm bush
- MAF sensor

Call BMW on 0906 209 0001 and you will get a run down of the spec and the services that were carried out within the BMW network - i.e. which dealer and the mileage. They do not store the details of what was done, so they will give you the phone numbers of the dealer(s) and then you can call to verify.
