Anyone ever fitted a Wiechers roll cage to an E36?

I have the same dilemma just now.
For track use a full cage is best of course. However I still use the car on the road and it's not recommended to have a full cage as you could knock your head on the top bar if involved in an accident, which wouldn't be a good idea withouth a helmet on.
Anyone know if the cages (E&F) linked above require the dash to be removed or not.. don't fancy that much either.
Think I am going to go down the route of a half cage with a harness bar. Just need to decide on a custom job or a bolt-in.

When i spoke to a german dudey yesterday at HG Motorsports, Paderborn he was sure that the full cage would have to go through the dash. Think this is why he quoted me 16 hours labour to fit a full one.
Im going for the half cage as my E36 will still be a road use car. And the harness strut is a must. Also handy for camera mount.
