Can anyone advise on the best solution for iPod integration in to a 2001 model E39 540i please?

Will the "Dice" solution show artist and title information on the SatNav screen?

What's the ebst way of getting my iPhone working in the car and linked in to the BMW fit system? At present it has the Motorola V50 system in the headrest.

Thanks in advance chaps biggrin

I'm investigating the same thing for a Z4, and this appears to tick all the boxes:

I have a Dice, but no Nav, so not entirely sure if this is any help, but... I have found the Dice Silverline to be pretty buggy... You have to follow a specific procedure connecting it up in the morning, or it gets its knickers in a twist and you have to do the 'battery reset' which is frankly a pain in the posterior, and not elegant at all... When it works it's fine, but again, I don't have experience of it with the Nav.

During my research (sadly after purchasing the Dice - doh!) I have heard good things about the intravee, it has its limitations, but I think it's more reliable than the Dice and feels more like an OEM bit of kit...
