E30 325i sport or E36 328i Sport

I need a new car in september and like BMWs. I've had an E36 and loved it but was only a 316. So how is the E30 different to the E36? An e46 is not out the question either. Ideally an e36 M3 would be great but insurance is a bit of a problem...

Having owned several E30's and E36's, I would have to say that the E30 is much more fun to drive. The E36 is quicker and probably better built, but doesn't engage the heart quite so much. If I never owned another E36, it wouldn't bother me, but I've always got an eye open for an E30.
