PDC, E38

Hello all, I'm replacing two senors on my 740iL as they are knackered and I'm looking at a bmw parts catalogue and there are two types.

6621 6902 182 - Ultrasonic-sensor

6621 0143 460 - Ultrasonic-sensor, active PDC, When ordering indicate colour code.

Which one do I need? 740iL 1999, M62, not shadowline (or whatever the upgrade was)

Any ideas?

Have you put the VIN in www.realoem.com ? Might narrow it down for you?

Yep, unfortunatley with the last 7 vin or the long route I still get a choice of two. I'm thinking its the first one as the sensor is in the black plastic of the bumper which isn't painted.

I'd pull them out, then: when I did mine the part number was on the unit, on the side.
