I want to do the following to my 2000 facelifted E39 530i non sport.

Remove the number plate holder for my shortplate but carry the strip (where the sensors are) right across.

Fit an alpina front splitter

Fit a lip boot spoiler

Matt black front grill

Alpina wheels

biggrin

I can obviously get the wheels but struggling with the rest. I dont want to end up with any dodgy fake parts that look horrible.

Anyone able to help?

Lip spoiler from Ebay or BMW dealer.

I just changed the wheels from a e39 530i SE which were 16" alloys with 225 tyres. Not bad looking but teh change to 540i sport 17" wheels with 235 tyres has made a world of difference.

I am alway son the lookout for a Sport rear bumper but will probably just change the rear box to an outlet like the sport with a small neat cutout of rear bumper. It is very quiet at present so wouldn't mind a little exhaust noise to coem out.

that looks good smile

are they hard to take out?

I assume there is no issue with paint sticking to the (fake) chrome as well as the plastic slats.

American Ebay would be the place for that

Not the best picture as it's in the shade but you get the idea. They've been painted a month but the car hasn't yet been driven with them on so don't know how well they'll last. It's only a couple of clips from behind to take them out if they do need doing again. You could always get another grill from Ebay or a breakers to practice on without spoiling yours.
