That's an average of about 150 miles a day. That's commitment to motoring.

Or a sign that you need to move closer to work.

ETA: Matt: an E66 is a current 7er. 740d?

My 528i's just about to turn over 80K miles at about 10 years old. It's practically unused.

You haven't really finished running it in, have you ?

My E39 is on 102K at eight years old and feels as good as
the day I bought it.

No rattles, no squeeks and all the buttons still work.

Lovely.

Everything works on mine - no dead pixels on the dash or console, too.

The only thing that's slightly annoying is the driver's airbag light keeps illuminating, which I'm led to believe is down to a dodgy seatbelt pretensioner sensor. I can live with it.

144k on my year 2000 E46 330i Touring. As a German colleague of mine said when I gave him alift, "Pffft. That's nothing. It'll do another 144k".

On the flipside, father inlaw was telling me he's thinking of chopping-in mother inlaw's Peugeot 106 "as it's 3 yrs old". It's done 4.5k. I was going to offer to find him an old steel bin and a box of matches if he really does want to burn a pile of cash.

It probably doesn't count, but I sold my e36 320 last year with 189k on the clock. It was like ending a relationship. It failed to start just once when some wiring fault fried the battery. i had a punto that was dying after 70k.

228k! Its v high but i bet there's higher out there somewhere. Still on original engine?

I had an E30 325i touring that had done 225,000 and had a broken odometer, so god know how many miles it had actually done!
